It’s exciting to be working with Base79 as YouTube evolves from a platform merely to share personal videos into a force shaping the future of broadcasting.
Base79 is one of Europe’s leading online video companies and the largest YouTube network outside of North America. We’re rolling out a series of new YouTube channel identities for them. The aim? To attract and retain as many subscribers as possible.
The first two channels launched this week, with more to follow over the next few months:
• “303”: aimed at the Electronic Dance Music community and so-named after the first base synthesizer which revolutionised the genre
• “Toast TV”: focuses on Pranks & Fails and is aimed at males aged 12-18
We created distinctive visual identities, with brand strategy and naming, aimed at an interest specific yet global audience. Plus we’re collaborating with production company Napoleon Creative on the creation of a series of animated stings.
Kate Walker, head of marketing at Base79, said: “Falcon brings a fresh perspective to what is effectively uncharted territory – targeted and expertly branded YouTube channels. We’re confident that new identities will go a long way towards attracting viewers and building a community around these channels, thereby giving our partners the opportunity to increase global viewing of their video content.”
